Learning to Follow Hard after God - Gretchen Fleming - Episode 2
David wrote, "My soul follows hard after you" (Psalm 63:8). About 1,000 years later, Jesus said, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me" (Matthew 16:24).
Following God sounds super easy, but it seems like we all struggle with it at times. Whether we face our own sin, pressures from work, screaming kids, depression, anxiety, or anything else in life, following God seems anything but easy. But Jesus promises if we take up this "cross" we'll find life.
Gretchen's passion is to follow hard after Jesus, knowing He is the treasure of a lifetime and worth every minute she commits to Him. God’s Word has been life-changing for her through the most trying times—a great source of strength, wisdom, and truth. She's a Bible teacher who speaks and writes because she loves to see Jesus change lives as He’s changed hers. Gretchen is a wife of 29 years and mother of 3 young adult children. Check out her speaking schedule to see if her next event will be near you.

Living a Lifestyle of Discipleship - Chris Davis - Episode 1
It's easy to think discipleship is a short-term thing that you do to become a better Christian, whatever "better" means. But what if the call of Jesus to "come follow me" means more than just going to church and sitting in on a few Bible studies?
Chris Davis is a long-time friend of ours and a Central Bible College alumnus. He and his wife, Victoria, and their two kids serve as youth pastors in Baltimore.
Chris knows the discipleship lifestyle because he lives it. His story of coming to Christ and his life after are a real demonstration of what the slow, daily growth of a Christian looks like. It's a journey that takes our entire lives and requires nothing less than all of us.

Welcome to the Daily Growth Discipleship Podcast
The best growth in the Christian life occurs in the daily moments that often go unnoticed. If you want to become more like Jesus, most often those moments show up while you're driving to work, eating a meal with someone, or trying to be a better parent. We explore what it means to live a discipleship lifestyle by always looking for these moments of growth. We talk to others who live the discipleship lifestyle now and look at resources we can use to live it better. Join us on our journey of daily growth to become more like Jesus.
